My sincere thanks go to all of
you for getting through this very tough year.
All bands
go through membership fluctuation and, as we have been going for
6 years now, its only fair that we should have our turn
at the bad year.
We have
lost a lot of players this year, through people going to
University, broken limbs that have taken a long time to heal,
people leaving to travel the world, or leaving because of too
many other commitments.
However,
despite our somewhat frugal numbers, the standard of playing
continues to rise, as we all witnessed at the summer concert and
hopefully we will exceed all our expectations on December he 18th!

Quite a
short term really, well, at least it makes it a bit cheaper!!
Especially if you take advantage of the early payment scheme!! A
saving of £5 on the term!!
Please
spread the word, we are desperate for Tuba,
Trombone, Drummers and percussionists, Baritone and Tenor saxes,
Flutes, Clarinets and Trumpets.
If you
know of anyone who might enjoy playing with us, invite them
along for a free session, or to our Birthday Open Rehearsal on
the 19th January, but anyone is welcome at any time.

wishes. Rest up, take it easy and good luck for the 18th,
you’ll be brilliant!!
Arrangements for the 18th December
2.30pm
rehearsal, with Drums, arrive ready to start playing at 2.30
please. The more prompt the start, the earlier we can finish.
6.15pm
arrive set up and warm up
6.30pm
Audience allowed in
7pm
concert starts
9.30pm
concert end ( approx) Raffle draw ( always exciting!!)
Everyone is welcome to stay on until
10.30 to socialise and drink the rest of the mulled wine!!
Dress
is Party clothes, as twinkley as you like, with a red theme.lots
of tinsel!!
